Hit the Chick after work today with Jmax. We mainly fished some new water to scout some areas for Saturday. Jmax sucked as the guide today. I guess his 2 weeks away from the water has dulled his senses. We boated 6 bass (when I say we I mean Jmax caught 1) all short, got desperate and caught 14 crappie (only 1 keeper), and I got a yellow bass and small bluegill. Wind blew about a billion miles per hour which did not help. All bass caught shallow on 10" worms except for one spinner bait fish. Water temp in the Wolf was an astounding 74 degrees.
