<br />Made a real quick trip to the lake today before getting started on mowing the lawn. <br />Got to the lake and it was just covered with boats up in the creeks. <br />Seems everyone is fishing for those spring crappie for good reason. Me and Skylar got out there amongst them and fished some &quot;ARTIFICIAL HABITAT&quot; to get our share of fish. Skylar went and hauled in her all time personal best white crappie on a BG Cajun Cricket. Hung around for a little while but decided to head out to the main channel to try some deep water docks. This ended up being a mistake. No crappie were to be found out here but we did manage several bass. On the way back to the ramp I had to stop to take a pic of the mountains in the background.
