So Andy ask me to fish this one with him since my boat has a few gremlins that need worked out. I must admit, when he told me about his 300hp on a 20ft bullet i was a little worried. I thought it is fast going 70mph, well when you cannot move because the wind is pinning you in the seat and you realize you just passed the boats going 70, then I knew what fast is. WE fished shallow and deep looking for big fish wherever they were hiding. Mandingo beat me about 20 fish to 3 on total catches, I just happen to luck up and catch two keepers. Most of our fish came on a super secret color rattle trap, with the rest coming on plastic. Water temps was 62- 64ish if I remember correctly. We had a good time out there cutting up and fishing, just like the CFF tournaments should be. For anyone looking for a nice boat, Mandingo's is for sale. I have never been in a boat that will run 70 + across wake like it is running on calm water. After the first run of the morning I gained a lot of trust in the boat and driver and have never had so much fun just going from a to b. Thanks for the ride Andy. Thanks to all the CFF volunteers who made this tournament go so well. (dropshot, pointer, jmax, xldvee, bbass, jonathan (for guarding the loot), and live well checkers dragfish I think. Thanks to anyone I left off that helped.
