Shannon and I both got off alittle early today and decided to hit the lake and see if we might be able to put together anything..to see if we may fish the Thursday Night Dog fight as HBSP.... had a good day of scouting... and alot of fun today....<br /><br />Hit the water about 2:30 and fished in a slough very close to deep water... fished in 3 fow with shakey heads and put a short fish in the boat. after 30 mins of nothing else took off to the <br /><br />2nd spot fishing in a slough sitting in 5 fow throwing to 1 ft.... <br />slap wore the fish out good here.... shakey head still.... caught two 2.5&#39;s one 2lb a 4.2 with a big ole fat belly...<br /><br />three or four 15 inch fish all in about a 30 yard round area sitting in basicly one spot..... it was wild.<br /><br />our 3rd spot was the place i caught some good fish on the other day on a flat and it showed fish and bait on the finder but couldnt get takers....<br /><br />our 4th area held 2 spots that were 13 inchers....<br /><br />and hit a deep bank that held two more 15 inch fish..... and one that was probably in the 2.5 range...it was time to go so didnt bother with checking him out too much.<br /><br />All fish today caught on shakey head in 5 fow or less for the most part....<br />Water temp ranged from 68-71<br /><br /><br />Best five today would have been between 13-14 lbs<br /><br /><br />Heres a pic of the big fish of the day
