<br /> Back to the nuke for another attempt to catch old big daddy cat today with my good luck charm Tina by my side. This usually works well but not today. Not a nibble. And we used that cat candy skipjack. This was thanks to Puddle Jumper's donation yesterday. We fished from one side to the other, at the tops of the boils, half way down them & in the bottoms & below. Saw a considerable amount of suspended fish around 38 - 44 feet. Probably the bulls that were running? Saw a lot of them slapping the top. Still just no luck. <br /> <br />Finally got to meet another one of my hero's. Old Cat Hooker was already in there when I got there around 11 or so. He didn't seem to be loading up either. He had caught a few. I didn't get the sizes. The wind got up around 3 & my toon doesn't like the wind pushing it up river. Eats my battery like a bad habit. Need to break down & buy a 12/24 I guess. <br /> <br />I guess I picked the wrong week to take vacation so I could fish all week. Just thought it was the right time for it. I wont plan it next time or tell anyone I am heading out there so maybe the cats wont find out about it. <br /> <br />Supposed to be breezy tomorrow so I probably wont make it out there.
