Well, there we wuz (to use a FA intro) trying to catch some slabs for my boy to take back to music city but it was tough today. emoBang <br />Not knowing whether the spawn was done or not, we went to a known area to try for some spawners but none to be found, then tried some docks and blow downs, we only picked up one here and there, must have fished 8 to 10 docks in all depths, used the old standards, BG Shads and Stubby Butts but only claught 14 crappie with 8 being keepers, also 3 lm bass, 2 catfish, several blue gill and 1 big old drum. However it was a great day to be on the water especially since my son was fishing with ole dad today.<br />Also we met Labman and Procraft out there and they almost had 2 limits (we hung our head in shame). Great to see you guys today.<br /><br />To make everything interesting Dewayne shot a 1/32 oz jig into his leg, he couldn&#39;t get it out so I called DK to see if he had Polo&#39;s phone # thinking he might could talk me thru jerking the hook out of his leg so we could avoid a trip to the ER. Well The DrumKing came thru again as he told us exactly how to get the hook out and IT WORKED REALLY WELL. Thanks again DK for your advise. emoThumbsup emoThumbsup emoThumbsup emoWorthy
