<br /> My plan was to show a couple guys what a great fishery we have here......that didnt work out too well at all. <br /> Got started at 9 and I dont think we boated the first cat untill after 3 or so?? And it was a whopping 8.5 lbs only because it had been eating like me. Second fish was a 3-4 lb flathead, and the third and final fish was a 6lb blue. Eciting stuff huh? We tried, skipjack, live bluegill, cut bluegill and night crawlers. it was quite pathetic. Water temps showed high 60's, and we tried anywhere from 6' to 60' of water. Nobody else caught much either. We ran into Puddle Jumper, BiggerCat and a couple friends of Eric's and it was the same story. <br /> Really the highlight of our day was lunch at Ari's at Harbor Lights, and laughing at Eric and I.... I somehow lost his brand new anchor...bad knot? Then we busted one of his rod holders rubbing a dock, and to top it off, Eric was trying to move my cooler and ended up busting off his kill-switch key, so we had to operate on it to get the boat running again!~ LOL<br /> It really was a very nice day on the water, except for the fishing... <br /> There was a commercial boat pulling nets, but we didnt see them having much luck honestly. <br /> WHERE ARE THE FISH!?!?!?!?!?<br />
