Launched from Riverpark at about 7:15 this morning, anticipating a good bite from all the reports I have been reading. Started just above the golf course throwing topwater against the riprap until the sun got high, then switched to a few different baits (Bluegrass BG on 1/24 head, a crawfish crankbait, shakey head, jerk bait) all of which caught fish. I ended up boating 35 spots, the biggest was about 2.5 lbs on the CB, a few rock/redeye bass, and a big bream. Many of the spots were small, but being spots they still put up a good fight. It was a great morning on the water, had to call it quits about 11:00.
