Pete (Nautic Man) called me yesterday PM and asked me to go fishing at the Riverpark with him and Norman (Labman). We were looking for smallmouth bass. Only found one. Then after catching several spots, and 1 tiny largemouth, a goggle eye and a white bass, we switched gears and started looking for Red Breast Sunfish. We found probably close to 20 sunfish and these were caught on jigs in various colors. Water temp was 67 degrees and water is clearing up really fast. Not nearly as much trash either. I also got slimed by a channel cat of about 3 lbs.

We caught the bass on various plastics. Crawfish, flukes, bitsy bugs, and minnow type baits. The bass were tight to the riprap, but the sunfish were off the bank mostly. I had to quit around 1:00 to keep an appointment, so they dropped me off at the ramp and continued fishing. I'm sure that they will finish the report when they get in. Enjoy the pics. emoBig
