<br /> Havent posted a report in a while due to not much to report and not much time to fish with baseball going almost everyday<br /> Rudy called me Thursday and asked for me to fish the dogfight since i havent been all week I figured id go and we would give it a shot.. Before blasting off everyone is there thinking they got a chance then you see Rogie, Treeman, Buddy Gross and quite a few other local"pros" show up and you know you better bring your A game.. <br /> Well me and Rudy ran way downriver and started fishing a hump in 15-25 ft of water and managed to catch one real nice smallie on a Deep diving crank but the thing only measured 17 3/4" emoBang emoBang Second time in as many weeks had to throw a solid 3 1/2 lb fish back. After about a hour we ran up river a ways to another deep ledge and we saw Buddy fishing on it emoBang so we moved to a secondary spot and managed to pick our 1st keeper..on a crig.. Withabout 45 mins left we move onto a shallow flat with some wood cover hoping to limit out.. Never happened with 5 mins left to fish we hooked a 2nd keeper on blk/blue spinnerbait .. fished hard for couple more mins but never got the 3rd keeper... <br /> Not sure what we did wrong but i got few things to practice this weekend for the CFF next week me and Earl are due a good showing..<br /> Rudy thanks for the ride enjoyed fishing and chatting with you.. had a great time we will do it again soon hopefully we fare better next time<br /> Congrats to Buddy that was one mean sack of fish... 16 lbs!!!emoWorthy id like to have that in 5 fish much less 3emoThumbsup
