Got out this morning for the fun of it. I told Whiskers I would more then likely have a banner day since I was NOT in a tournament. I did have a very good day for me especially considering how poor I have been doing lately. I boated nineteen bass with nine keepers. Had one over four, a three, four in the 2.25 to 2.9 range and a couple more 2 or close. My best five would have been over 14 lbs. emoThumbsup I know that is nothing to get all excited about but that is the best I have had since the spawn. emoRedface

Started out on top with a spook and the first two came on it on a flat. Next one was a shakey also on the flat. Moved to deeper water and started hitting docks. Had four on the spook off docks and one of those was a nice keepers. Hit a brush pile and got the four off it in about 12 foot on a shakey. Moved to the main river and hit some deep points. Was using a pig and jig, managed the three, a 2.9, a 2.6 and a couple more twos with one keeper spot. Moved and hit some humps with nothing hitting. emoScratch Moved again and hit some drops. two spots and another nice keeper large mouth. Hit another hump and nothing. I do not know what has happened to my hump bite this year. Ended the day slow rolling blades around some shad schools and managed three more LM in the boat and two LDRs. In all a very nice day. Caught bass on blades, shakeys, pig and jigs and spooks.

Water temp was in the mid 70s and depth was from about 4 feet to 25 feet. I left at 1:00 o'clock.

emoAngler Jmax
