Black Canyon Res Structures
#1
Two years ago F&G in conjunction with The Idaho Bass Federation placed structure trees in Black Canyon Res, Sawyers Pond, Quinn's Pond, and Park Center Pond.

In Black Canyon they were sunk in flat areas of over 21 ft deep in order to not be a boating hazard. In BC there are 4 locations of about 75 trees each.

I've seen some of these structures when the lake is drawn down in the winter for Dam maintenance. The fish in there sure take a beating when we do this. In a couple more years we will be building another generator at the Dam and it will require another draw down while they cut a hole in the Dam for a new penstock.
I catch more fish below the Dam then I ever have in the reservoir. Largemouth and Smallmouth.
