Well the long fishing dry spell got broken for me today. It has been almost 9 months since I was able to fish enough to make a report. Long story but anyhow we set out for some blues today. In spite of the reports of late. Not a stellar day compared to days gone by but we did manage to squeak out quite a few. We fished from just after first light until the crazies came out in full force at high noon. Total for the day by weights for the three of us was;12,12,8,8,7,6,6,5,5,5,4,4,3,2,2 All fish were caught on frozen cut skipjack. The largest of the group were caught on the bottom in 50-55 feet of water on the outside of the channel bend. The rest came on a drop in 42-48 feet of water.
Great day fishing and fellowshipping with great friends.
Needless to say I am glad to be back after them and for sure am glad the boat is back to running condition.

My apologies for the lousy pics but I left the camers home and had to take these with the iPhone.
