Thought we'd swing by the dam for a quick trip after spending my pension @ Academy and the trip was far from a success. We saw some small schools of threads that are a little bigger in size than a few weeks ago but couldn't time out the throw with my 1/4" mesh net because it simply don't sink fast enough. So we stood around with the cast net for about an hour and hit a school of small gizzards which were perfect 4-7" size and toted them up to topside but it was a big FAIL. Ty was the only one to get a bite and didn't even get a hookset. Absolute beauty of a day but no fishies.
