<br /> Dr Phillip Gawthrop and I got out this AM for a couple of hours of crappie fishing. We actually started in Wolftever creek looking for white bass, but nothing happening with them. Then we went to the river to fish for crappie. From 7:00 til 9:00 we landed 42 crappie. Dr Phil kept a few for a fish fry and we released all the rest. We fished one dock (18 fish) and one off shore structure (24 fish). The fish were deep like they have been lately and we were using 1/32 oz jigs with bg shads in blue colors. Dr Phil did use a 1/16 oz for a while until the fish tore his lure up and I didn't have any more of that color glued up. There was a beautiful rainbow in the clouds this AM and a beautiful sunrise.
