Louie B, Carters Lake, Spotted Bass/Hybrids/Walleye, 6.12.10, Bill /Blake Payne, college roommate
#1
Bill and I had our 2nd Friday Night Open at Allatoona last night. The tournament was 8p-3a, Jackie and Kelly Bagley won won w/ 16lbs and BF of 6+ slime ball. When we finished we headed to Carters from 6am-10am. Bill's son Blake had a his old college roommate, Robert in town from Beaver Lake, Arkansas and wanted to see him catch something mean.

We caught a dozen spots (3 over 4lb), one hybrid, and 2 walleye. All on scroungers, jerkbaits, and crankbaits. Our best 5 spots this morning easily weighed 16-17lbs. Blake caught his biggest ever spot (4.60), and his first ever hybrid this morning both on jerkbait. Bill caught both Walleye on a pink/white custom crankbait, it was a 6-8 ft diver. Water temp was 83, clarity was a bit stained only 4-5ft. Hopefully the fish will move out deep soon. I'm getting very few bites out deep, none of which have been quality Sad

LB
