Spurhunter told me that he would take me Noodling one of these days. He called and a half hour later we were in Fishingmachine's boat and another 15 minutes checking for holes off the main channel. Spurhunter's son Hunter was with us too but I don't remember his name on CFF. We found a few holes with no fish but right at about 9pm Catfinger found a "good hole". She knew that there must be a fish in the it. Catfinger told us what to feel for and what to do. She then helped Spurhunter and Fishingmachine pull out a flathead that must have been nearly 50lbs but of course, we had no scale. Upon further review of the hole Catfinger found another cat in the hole and she helped Spurhunter and me pull another out of the hole that probably was a few pounds lighter but still huge. I can't believe we pay Spurhunter to do this when it's his daughter, Catfinger that knows all about it and does most of the work. We had a great short trip on Chickamauga and pulled in two HOF Cats. Spurhunter has some pics. Thanks again Catfinger, and you other guys for letting me tag along. The most alarming thing about all of this is that while you are underwater with your hand and whole arm stuck as far into a hole as you can, you feel the "thumping" of something very large moving down deep in the hole and I wasn't sure that I wanted whatever that big thing was on the end of my fingers with my head underwater. We all survived and that's the best part. I didn't even have to treat anyone for injuries!
