Terry came over this morning and I was hoping that he wouldn't be too stiff to fish after the catfish wrestling that he did last night. I was hoping to get him on some of my white bass but they didn't want to cooperate very well. Terry caught a nice LM in my white bass hole but the whites were non-existent. I hope that they haven't moved on. We came back later and caught a couple but not like I have been catching them. We then fished deep for crappie but could only get small trashy green fish. We then went to my trashy green fish topwater spot and there was a little activity but we were really too late in the day by then for lots of fish on top. Encouraging though that there were some fish busting shad. We then fished a deep point and caught a few more LMs. We then went to a main lake spot and caught a couple more LMs. Ran to Chester Frost to get some deep water crappie and could only get LMs. Ran back to Harrison bay and fished a deep water spot that I had just mapped out with my GPS last time out and caught some more LMs. By this time it was after noon and everything in the boat, including the reels were so hot they almost blistered us so we headed back to the creek for the whites, that's when we caught a couple. Fun day with a good friend. We ended up with lots of LMs but no really big ones. Thanks for sharing the boat with me today Terry. Hopefully those topwater bass will be on in the next few days/weeks.
