I fished for a couple of hours this morning by myself as I wanted to scout out a new structure. After dropping markers, I idled over the structure to see if the fish were still stacked in there like they were a couple of days ago. But the fish had left for bluer waters. emoBig
So, I ran upriver to see if the bass were schooling. I saw Hal up there crappie fishing. He was doing pretty good. No schoolers, only a drum and 1 crappie, so I went back to the creek to catch some of Polo's pets.

In about 30 or 40 minutes of fishing, I caught 22 yellow bass and 2 big white bass and left them biting to go home for breakfast. Fishing fix over and the rest of the day to do whatever honey wants me to do. All you men know what honey-dos are. emoBig
emoGeezer

The bass were all at a 20 count and then a slight twitch, couple of quick reels, pause, twitch and see the line barely move, set the hook and reel them in. Much fun. I would have stayed longer if the sun hadn't been getting warm. No pics today, just a tale. emoBig
