MrWiskers, Chick, Bassin, 6-28-2010, Wife and Hole Jumpers

<br /> Emailed the wife today to see if she wanted to get out on the boat this afternoon, she did. Hit the Chick around 6:30 and started hitting ledges. First ledge had a small school of bass on it and hooked and lost one on my first cast, missed one on my second cast, and then they moved. Keep moving around and finally found them again. It was about that time these two "guys" came in and started fishing right on top of me. Unreal how rude people on the Chick are.emoPoke Ended up catching 3 more on this spot including a yellow stripe on a crank. All fish came on drop shotted powerminnow. The "other" boat caught a few as well.emoBadLanguage <br /> Left that area and hit another ledge. Nothing. But the strange thing was those two "guys" followed me there. What the????emoCrazy <br /> Hit one more ledge and found the mother load (see graph). Ended up boating 10 bass of this spot and the "guys" that followed me caught 5-10 more. They got so close I got a pic of them. 50 yards????? Try 5 yards maybe. emoPoke Decided to take a pic of these "guys" to show them off to the world (see pic below).<br /> Just kidding Polo. emoLaugh We had a great time tonight. Polo and his friend (forgot his name) followed me around tonight and fished with us. That last spot we hit had TONS of fish on it. We caught fish on drop shot power minnows, drop shot worms, C-rig tubes, jigging spoons and topwater. Got 3-4 out of the schoolers which was a blast. Wished we would have hit this spot first but the guide was a little late finding it tonight. emoRolleyes <br /> So totals for me tonight, 15 bass in the boat, 4 keepers, best 3 around 7 lbs and one yellow stripe. Not sure how many Polo's boat caught but it was close to what I had. All in less than 3 hours.<br /> Had fun Polo, we will have to do it again real soon.
