<br /> Tyler and I hit the Chick today at 6AM. Hit some grass areas first and Tyler catches a Smallie on about his 5th cast on a shakey head. A smallie in the grass????emoScratch We hit another gass pocket that I have not fished this year and TW boats a 2.25-2.5 lb LM on a shakey head. So it is still early but I am down 2 to 0 by TW. emoBang <br /> Hit a road bed and marked a bunch of fish but no takers. So we decided to start the deep water ledge stuff. The first ledge we hit was almost barren, but I did manage to get the skunk off me with a small spot. emoApplause <br /> Decided that was enough so we hit the shell beds I have been doing well on the past couple of weeks. The fish were there like clockwork. We just camped out on this spot and caught fish the rest of the morning on jigging spoons and drop shot power minnows. Caught largemouths, yellow stripe, one blue and one channel cats. I took some graph pictures as that spot was stacked with fish. We got off the water at 10AM before the crazies got out there.<br /> So totals for today were: 1 spot, 10 largemouth (4 keepers), 16 yellow stripe, 1 blue cat and 1 channel cat. At times you get 5-10 hits per cast the yellows were so thick. Fun stuff.<br /> Oh, and ask Tyler how to take a yellow stripe off a hook. emoPoke emoLaugh
