All species trip on the &quot;Chick&quot; today. Caught quite a few bass, yellow bass, channel cats, drum, one blue cat, and one bream on minnows or trolling crankbaits. I guess 20-25 total. Most of the fish were small but we caught a lot of them on 4 lb. test line which was a blast. We fished in and around the buoys / ledges/ drop-offs from maybe 5-30 feet. We stayed parallel but not really close to the small island ( with all the birds nests ) if you were coming from Harrison Bay going toward the nuke plant. One reason was that was about the only place you could stay without being run over by a boat. It was crowded out there. Just a lazy day on the water that I don&#39;t do much of anymore. It was nice to give my shoulder a rest from a lot of spinner and crankbait casting lately. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend - we did emoUSA.<br />Here&#39;s a few pics...
