Put at the Wolf this morning at 6:15 and ran out to the river ledges. The water temp was again about mid 80's and no current! TVA said they were going to pull an average of 13,000 cfw, I couldn't see it? The slight breeze kept pushing us up the river!? We did get into some good fish and had a ball. Dad had three keepers real quick on a c rig, then I finally got into it with solid 3 lb. chunk but dad still had me down. I a few, I stuck one on my jig about 4 1/2 lbs. and then lost her right at the boat trying to do the one hand net thing! The fish were in 20 / 35 fow. Dad by far had the most bites on the c rig, but the best fish were caught on the jig. He did finally put the c rig thing down and started chunk'in a jig to after I had culled about 4 on the jig. Then he promptly boats one over 4 lbs. missed one on the next cast, then catches another on the third cast! In all we caught about 40 fish, culled out 6. the best 5 were around 22 /23 lbs. Took a couple of pictures and all were released. I used three one gallon ice jugs, non iodine salt and ran the re circulator non stop. The fish were very lively and we loaded at 12:30 pm.
