I've been trying to fish the a jig constantly after being schooled in the last BFL by my boater. It is funny but I have always fished hair jigs and done well with them. I can't believe that the feel is that much different. Haven't caught a big numbers with it but, the fish I'm catching have been solid. I did have to throw top water early and late for my fix there. I caught fish in 4 to 10' of water. I found a brush pile in a shallow stump field that had a drop into 10' I pulled a couple off of. Water temp was 86 in most areas.
