Well I took one of those rare catfish trips, juggin' that is, from dusk 'till dawn, emoThumbsup emoTongue We started out about 3 pm catching some blue gills and cutting them up for bait. Around 7 pm we started putting out juggs with 'gills, turkey livers, and chicken breast chunks as bait. We were kept busy with about 50 juggs all night. We were to quit at midnight but were having so much fun that we stayed with it 'till dawn, emoThumbsup emoBigSmile We took Big Jim's pontoon boat to relax on and my boat as the cat chase boat. During the periods between checkin' the juggs we had a light in the water for minnows and crappie, (you know I couldn't go without trying for at least a few crappie, emoTongue ) We caught several nice crappie including my 12th for the year TARP at 14 & 1/2" We ended up with 18 cats some of which we kept for one of Catfish1's friends and the rest we let go. We lost the biggest fish of the night at the boat. He bent the hook and it came out before we could get the grippers in his lower jaw. This cat had a head that was at least 8 inches across the top, maybe a little more, he was a monster. Sure wanted a picture of that one, emoHoppingmad No real idea of what he weighed but my guess would put him over 50 lbs Water temp was a balmy 90*. Don't think I've seen it higher than that b 4 emoRedface
