Anyone have a good solution for catching kokanee in stateline? I am going next week.

ive never been there but squids and dodgers are the norm maybe somebody will chime in i would take some anyway!good luck ! rocky mountain tackle would be the best i think.

Yeah I usually use rocky mtn dodgers in blue pink combo with a pink squid behind it. At least at flamin I do really well but every body of water is sensitive to a different color.

Stateline is one of those lakes that few people fish often and even fewer target kokanee there. I think few members even know that it is one of the 6 lakes in the state that have a catchable population on kokes. I would agree with squid and dodger as was mentioned but bring a variety of koke gear. Before RMT and Shasta came along I used a hammered silver dodger and wedding ring lure. Good luck and please make a post about your results, good or bad, because we get few reports about that lake.
