took my daughters boy friend out for a short trip tgo mud creek it was a teaching day for me and i hope a learning day for him we started out at at around 5 am he has a nice rod with a browning real with i do not like it had some kind of really big line on it and he or i could not cast it very far but we will fix that this weekend with some good line i caught 4 bass with only 1 being a keeper and missed 8or more on a ribbit in and on the moss flats they would take it out of sight and i just could not get a hook set on them all fish swam away tgo be caught some other time water temp was 89 / 90 left the water at 8 when the sun got up good caught the 4 on a big watermellon seed green lizard and a big black worm in 6 foot of water with the bait right on top of the moss around 7" deep hope the boy friend learns to fish for bass he says he can catch the catfish verry well but needs a lot of coaching on the bassemoThumbsup emoDoh emoBawl emoBawl emoBooHoo
