I'm betting that you're already there, but if not here's a bone I'll throw you since I've been researching the same thing for next march.

www.fishinkona.com charter company is run by the guy that posts his updates on this forum each month. The research I did kept pointing back at him as a good option. However he doesn't do share charters. So if you have a few people that all want to fish it could work out and you can book his boat for the day if it's not full already.

I would also check a couple of his links to other captains on his site in regards to share charters if it's just you going fishing. There were 2 on there that he specifically mentioned as being good captains. Hopefully you figure something out and catch a few good size fish. I hear the bottom bite has been hot lately. Let us know how you do.

Aloha Jeff and Belasko,

This is Capt. Jeff Rogers from http://FISHinKONA.com

I actually do offer share charters as of the beginning of this year. I'm the only fishing charter in Kona that offers a viable full day share charter option. You can read how at http://FISHinKONA.com/share.htm

1/2 day shares are a waste of time and $.

Capt. Jeff
PS. I checked out Whipsaw because I've never heard of it. Wrong island!
