Got home yesterday and it was nice out so I decided to see if my neighbor wanted to hit the river for a few hours. We put in at river park at 6:00, we mainly stayed around the golf course for most of the evening. Fished some slack water with a shakey head for an hour or so and had a couple small spots and one LM, moved towards the opposite bank and started throwing a 1/2oz black and blue jig and caught a couple decent spots, largest being about 2.75lb, a lot of fun to catch with all the current last night. It started to get dark so we moved closer to the ramp and fished around there for an hour or so and caught a huge drum on the jig, it was close to 30 lb, tried to get a pic but the cell phone couldn't get it, too dark. Last 30 minutes or so we fished the slack water right at the ramp and caught a couple more small spots and a small shovel head all on a skakey head, shovel head was only about 2lbs but a cool looking fish.

Made the bone head move of the year when we went to pull the boat out, been fishing around the dock and never noticed in the dark that i never bothered to pull up my trolling motor emoBang , needless to say i'm looking for a motor mount bracket for a Johnson/Evinrude trolling motor, have a feeing i'll have a hard time finding one. emoAngry Either way had a fun night, and will probably end up with a new trolling motor because of it! emoDoh
