It has been so long since I've gone fishing that I had to hunt for my boat in the tall weeds in the back yard. Seems that I am now the proud owner of a "yard boat". Others were taken on bluegill and skipjack, so I guess they're not too fussy right now. The fishing was great but the catching was slow. No matter. I was thrilled to be out. I talked with some friends and waved at others as they motored past - all in all a very nice morning.

The 12 pounder was a bit camera shy and departed the boat before I could get it's picture, so I took a quick snapshot of the next one into the boat - a 5 if I remember correctly. Not too important, it was just a day dedicated to fun fishing!
