The beautiful Miss Mary accompanied me on a fishing adventure today to the nuke plant to enjoy the cooler day and plentiful sunshine. She hasn't been out in the new boat yet and was looking forward to the trip.

She drove the boat at wide open throttle to the secret spot (what can ya hurt at 26 mph??) and we spent several hours drifting and feeding the tiny kitties that have invaded the place. We had hundreds of bites - or should I say hundreds of tiny fish nibbling around the outside of our skipjack chunks - which kept it interesting the whole time. She took an early lead by catching the biggest and the first few fish, but by the time we quit I had caught up with her. We made two additional drifts to break the tie for the championship of the world, but boated no fish and decided to share the adulation of the crowds until next time.

I have to be honest and admit yelling some nasty obsceneties at one of the idiots apparently on his way to the Vols game this weekend (there were a lot of them on their way but most were polite) who about swamped us with his VERY nearby wake while he stared straight ahead and made believe that he didn't even know we existed.

Talked to several folks again and all seemed to be enjoying the day (and small fish), when we were moved in on by two extremely ugly CFF "ert"s, hole jumpers extrodinaire, crappie fishermen no less, who proceded to harass us. I took a pic so folks here could try to identify them. Great meeting the one I didn't know, and Pat is always a hoot. Here's a pic of them, as well as some of today's finer trophies:
