I got a late start today, didn't get to fishing 'till about 2:30 PM. Had some things to do this morning and also thought with the rain coming in maybe the afternoon bite would be better. It was just so-so, :o Started out on a dock that was loaded but the fish weren't very hungry so it took about an hour and a half to get 11. I decided to boat ride some and do some hunting, Wink I hit a couple docks that didn't have any fish but finally found one that had a few hungry one on it. I did manage to drag up another TARP today. Ran into some friends who own a dock and we sat and talked for the last 30 minutes of the day just as the rain got started. I did get wet puttin' the boat on the trailer but no big deal, it's still fun, emoSmile The final count was 18 crappie with only 3 throw backs. Most of the fish were well over the 11 inch mark with a couple more that were 13 - 3/4 in. This also seemed to be the day of the cat fish. I caught 5 cats from under docks. That's a little unusual to catch that many from under docks, sometimes a couple but they were under there today. Smallest was about a pound and a half and the largest was about 5 lbs. Also added a couple 'gills to the count, emoThumbsup I took some interesting Racoon pictures but they didn't turn out all that well. Momma coon must be 20 years old, she is almost all white and has no tail! I'm pretty sure that's her baby along with her because she was talkin' to him the whole time, teachin' him to fish I guess, emoTongue All in all it was a good afternoon. Water temp was 78* and we did have some white caps along about 3-3:30 but had calmed down by sundown, emoThumbsup All fish released for someone else's fun, emoSmile
