Dropshot and I started a little bit upriver throwing topwater with no luck. Switched to blades and crankbaits. Caught two decent spots on a spinnerbait. For the rest of the tournament, we concentrated on the ledges with jigs, worms, and craws. Couldn't produce anything but wannbes. Talked to Beetlespin and his son for a while. They were dragging lures on the breaks. His little boy was giving him a lesson. We were limited in what we were able to do because of trolling motor problems. Still, 2 fish are better than a zero.
