Willard eyes.
#1
Well, willard is calling me. So, I broke out the duck boat and am getting it ready to take out on the bay.

Has anyone heard of any recent locations where the eyes have been biting?

I havent been out there in months, ever since my hull touched bottom in the north marina. So I have no idea where to start.

I guess the real question should be out board, or mud motor? Hee Hee.

You won't have a problem using your outboard once you get out of the channel but make sure you go straight out because the islands on the right extend under the surface well past the last island. The front of my boat was hitting bottom when the fish finder was reading 5 ft in the back, so it comes up real fast. As far as the walleye go, I haven't heard of anyone catching one in over a month but the deepest water is along the north dike over to the light pole, so I would think that would be a good place to start. Everyone that I've talked to that has used nightcrawlers for walleye have been catching catfish, so I'd say you have your work cut out for you if your going after the walleye. Are you going before they dredge the channel? WH2
