Went fishing directly after work below the dam, ate my king-size snickers and I was good to go. My buddy and I fished until about 8:30 with him catching one small LM, catfish and a monster carp on crankbait. I didn't have a single hit all evening. I decided we should move a little farther down the bank and I'm sure glad we did. I finally hooked up with two 1.5 lb LM which rekindled my mood a bit. About 9:15 I hooked up with a good fish, needless to say I was excited it being the biggest bass I've ever caught. I was even more excited when I saw it was a Smallie. He fought like a champ. Smallie weighed in at 3.6lbs. Can't wait to go back this weekend!
