My sister in law and her boyfriend were in this weekend, so I talked him into getting up early for a fishing trip before they left. Put in at CFp around 8:30. Ran into Drumking and Labman at the dock. <br /><br />We stayed mostly around that side of the river. It was a slow morning with me only catching two in the same clump of grass. Both fish came on SB. The first was a nce one around 2.5- 3 lbs. Two casts later to the same grass spot, had another hit. i told Hutch, &quot;I think I caught the same one again... No, this one is definitely bigger!&quot; Got it to the boat and saw it was a nice healthy fish that would have gone around 4lbs- my personal best for this year on the Chick!<br /><br />Finished around 10am. water temp stayed at 68F.<br /><br />
