in at Dayton right at safe light yesterday and started at the mouth of Richland with spooks. Caught 5 small fish. Went down toward the mouth of the Hiwasee and caught several more fishing scattered grass with the spooks. The active fish were very shallow, 6&quot; to 18 &quot;. From there we went up river but never connected with anything of any size. We fished shallow the whole time. Water temps right at 70. 1 pm we decided to change lakes and hit the Bar. We left Chic with 9 fish put in the boat and 4-5 more lost boatside and maybe 1-2 keepers.<br /><br />Put in at Caney cr and headed down to see if the rock fish were hanging on the drops. Never could find them but we managed to boat 16 bass throwing traps and shallow cranks on wind blown points. Find the bait and you will catch fish. They are/were very shallow but also very small.
