Short trip as I had to pick up Catfinger from HBSP at 9:15 this morning, so I launched before daylight amongst the 50 bass boats trying to stage for a TX of some kind.
Hit a main lake dock, the C-dock for those that know it, and got hung my first cast, then caught a 13" on the second, all still in the dark. It was slow and I only managed 8 fish, with 5 large slabs. Hung into a big fish, possibly a flathead and it broke me off after a few seconds. No head shaking, so not a spot or a blue, just pulled like a frieghtt train.
A boat came in to the dock about 15 minutes later and fished the other side of it and then moved on to the next one. Few miutes later it came back and worked all the way around the dock and when it came around my side, (I was actually tied up to the dock) they trolled close enough while still casting under the dock, that I could have just stepped onto their boat. emoLaugh I really didnt care, just odd to do that without asking if I minded. ( I didnt) Good thing I like company!
Might go back this afternoon as I have to drop off the girl back at HBSP.
