Jim and I put in around 3 and fished close to dark.
We started off fishing where my mom and I caught our big ones yesterday. Didn't have a whole lot of success there, only boated 3 with 2 being small keepers in about an hour and a half. Then we decided to try a couple points, nothing at all after an hour or so.
Took off towards a mainlake bluff wall. Fished there another good 30 minutes, only end up catching 1 more small one off a jig.
Decided to go on back to the first spot that produced the big ones yesterday. Within 10 minutes I set the hook on my new personal best spot! What a hard fighting fish! She went 4lbs 12oz. This one was only 20.5" but was a PIG emoToast She had a huge gizzard shad down her throat and a bunch of food stuffed in her belly emoDance
We moved on down the bank and caught several more fish including another keeper that was a largemouth. Ended up with 8 or 9 fish total with 4 keepers. Those 4 would've been about 9 or 10lbs i'd say. Thats good for Parksville though. emoThumbsup
Water temps were about the same today as yesterday, maybe a little cooler. 69.8F was the lowest I saw on the main lake, and 69F even up in the creeks. Coming down good, bite is about to go crazy up there sometime in the next couple weeks emoSmile
Will be up there again Monday night for the tourny, hopefully they will be biting a little better emoWorthy
