Decided to fish the grasses at HB after work yesterday. Fished from 5:45 until about 7:15, Caught three LM all on Academy's brand of the Pop-R. All fish were caught within about 25 minutes of each other with my first catch at about 6:45. The fish pictured blew up at my lure about 7 feet from the bank and dang near give me a heart attack, I'm still getting acclimated to top water fishing and the excitement that come with it. All three fish were caught within 10 feet or so from the bank, seems to be where all the bait fish are as well, I saw countless bait fish swimming, jumping and swimming for their life. All three fish were roughly the same size, no monsters but still had a great time. I love top-water fishing!
