Best in-shore/freshwater boat made?

Last year while helping my brother-in-law find a good all-around boat to fish in-shore waters on the North Carolina coast as well as freshwater lakes and rivers, we went to a local dealer and we both fell in love with the Carolina Skiff. This tough, versatile shallow-running boat was exactly what he needed for fishing rough water on the coast, and weekend fishing/camping trips on the lakes. A friend of mine went to look at them and came home with one too!
