With the overcast, we just had to get out there. Put in around 2PM and fished til dark.
Gonna make it short and sweet. Bite was slow, caught a total of 20 fish. Only 1 keeper that went close to 15". At one point Jim had a little spot on and a 6-7lb LM chases it to the boat (highlight of the trip) emoDoh
All fish came off dropshots on points and wherever else we could find any fish. No we didn't find to many fish today on the graph, and most wouldn't even bite that we saw (probably bigger fish).
Water temps were 67.5-68.5 the entire time and water level was over full pool when we got there (back to regular pool when we left) We covered lots of water only catching 1 fish here and 1 there. Not the best trip, but the weather was GREAT! emoThumbsup Not understanding the spots though with it being as nice and cloudy as it was. Did catch a spot today that looked like it was a Kentucky strain. The markings it had looked like one Id catch out of the Tennessee river, it was short and fat. Pretty cool.
Thats all for now, we are 5 days from the draw down... looking forward to it!
