BassERT, Chickamauga, Crappie and a very large slimer, 10-28-10, Yellburt
#1
We put in after talking to Mark and Greg at SCT at Holley Circle and went prospecting.
After a while we ended up in a familiar spot and caught some nice crappie.
I mostly used a 1/32 white ringer stinger with a tail light deep.

Finally drifted off to a new spot and while catching crappie, a rock bass and a yeller, I saw my little lure swimming by it self.
Set the hook and I had 6lb line on and it would not budge. Then the head started shaking and I say, "get the net Tommy!"
Finally I got it up to see it and my pard says the net won't work emoLaugh

After about 20 minutes and 2 tries, we got the boca on a blue that went 33 and 12 oz.
Thought I would snap my rod, but my pard was patient and we took a pic.

It almost cost him a black eye as my little scale let go of the heavy fish and my hand sprung up and smacked YB in the cheek as
he was trying to put the fish on a digital he had.

My spring scale said 35 and I think it was pretty close.

As for the crappie, well we ended up with 34 total with 16 over 11"

What a day... emoCool
