Fished "Fishing For Kids" TX today - ran to the river first thing - found them Thursday and knew they would still be there - vowed to live and die on the frog and never gave up - caught keepers Thursday in practice at the edge of the grass but today the fish were on the bank = less than 1 ft. of water - lost a few early including one that would have made a huge difference at the weigh in - hooked up a few others that never made it to the top of the mat that would have made the day even better but that's the way it goes - water temp was still 61 and some current - Felt guilty when CBA boats finally showed up because I know we stuck some big-ens that should have been in the livewell and could have been worth $$ to those guys! - We were on 18 to 20 lbs. and did not have the skill set to bring them in...
