[cool] Hey there Lonehunter,
That looks kind of like the setup that I have. What do you mean by off months??? Is that when you are off from work long enough to fish all day. We don't have an off season here in CA. [sly]

Hey there lonehunter,
Sweet setup! I had two on my jeep in Japan. A couple more things I did to mine:
I locked the tube(s) on my roof rack with lockable fire extinguisher wall holders. Easy to mount, and to remove and hand carry the tubes.
I put a handle on my tubes because........
(On that one, just make sure you find the balance point with the rods that you plan to carry in that specific tube. Oh ya and make sure they are in the right direction...I screwed that one up before! ha ha on me!
Those screw-in male plugs as end-caps work great. With the plug screwed in, I drilled a hole at a 45 degree angle through both the plug and the wall of the PVC pipe and used a long shanked bicycle lock to finish it off.
Nice finish on the Torpedo launcher! A guy asked me in Japan, are those for tohmahawk missles? I replied yea for the guys going 40 in an 80kph lane.

i like that clamp idea . i can still use my set up by securing the f.e. clamp to my clamps , another great idea ron , thanks !
angler sent me the tube and the stickers , i've gotten quite a few admirers about it at some of the fishing holes and saw one guy writting down the web address .
pretty cool set-up all the way !

ya gotta pratice on your casting, I found the best way to catch fish is from someone elses pre drilled holes. just cast in when they aint looking.
I beleive you said you like to nudge up close to see what the other guy is usin. lol

man...if that thing came with a 20# trueLine rod.... you wouldn't be able to find those anywhere in the world. well....if you fly to lakewood, CA. and you sneek into my bedroom, you probably will be able to find a few.
