worm rival
#1
the worm rival is one of my favorite lures for panfish! but i have hooked and almost landed a 2 pound bass with it. it is one of the natural looking worms and it comes rigged with a hook in the middle and another at the back end. it also has anise attractant on it. it comes in charetuse with silver flake, natural, purple, and catalapa. ive tried 3 out of 4 of the colors, but my two favorites are chartuse w/ silver flake and natural. i mainly use it in spring and fall seeing that the bugs are gone. the lure is best fished slowly with the rod positioned in the center and twitched on occaision. one way i've had sucess fishing it was with a spit shot and letting it sink with the spit shot. it is very natural. i've almost caught fish fishing it aggressively, twitching it and jerking all the way back. chartuse is best used in mucky water, while natural murders the sunfish after heavy rains!

cost $1.40 for 1,$2.50 for 2, but the one pack is the highest quality

Those look pretty good and I like how they come pre rigged with hooks. I'm still new to fishing and I can never seem to get the fake worms rigged just right without tearing them. How long does the "scent" last and can you add scent back to them if you've used them for a while?
