Fishing in Munich, Germany?

Hey Angler, I spent 4 years in Germany. Never done any fishing though. You have to take a test, much like our driving test and the fee's are pretty outragous to obtain a driving license.  ] Angler, The info provided to you below is basically correct. To fish in Germany is a time consuming process to say the least. A Course is required and the cost is about $75.00. Once you have the course, you will then be able to FISH. There are other options available to you, but the Old saying "Shooting Fish in a Barrow"comes to mind. On private lakes that are on the property of a farmer that raises fish for sale, you may fish withoput a license. I am not aware of any particular lakes in that area, but they should be. These lakes will be Trout Farms and you will pay by the kilo and for the fishing. Here in my area, there are 3 within an hour of the house. I live in Wuerzburg which is between Nuernberg and Frankfurt on the Autobahn 3. If you are willing to travel while you are in Munich, I would happily meet you and take you out to one of these.
