Well it was slow for us Saturday.
My wife & I got on the water at about 7:15 AM. We put in at the Nampa Dam and shot straight across the lake & started fishing. Water temp averaged about 57 deg. We threw spinner baits with no success then started flipping plastics into the brush and around the trees. We didn't catch a fish until my wife pulled one out from under a tree at about 11:00. I caught one about 20 minutes later the same way. We then went to the no wake zone and found water about 61 deg. My wife pulled one more fish. That was it! There was a storm brewing so we headed back to the ramp about 1:30. All fish were caught on the Yum black & chartruse lizard. See the attached pics!
There is one of my boat also. If you see me on the water be sure to say hi!

Jeep - the fish we caught we oriented to wood. I was thinking the storm front slowed the bite down. I hate to think it was me! LOL
Be careful in the wind.

I think most guys did ok... we didn't do so hot... we never got to cull any so our weight wasn't very good. I think the winning weight was 13+ so there were some decent smallies caught. Water temps actually were higher than I thought - mid to upper 50s. Id like to go back soon and redeem myself. Problem is that the list of lakes I need some redemption on is growing. [laugh]

My wife has outfished me several times on the river, but she doesn't like fishing Lake Lowell. She now says she won't go out there because she might not uphold the wife's duty - which is obviously to outfish her husband.
I thought of going out this evening, but the weather looks really nasty. I'll probably try the lake tomorrow.

I was thinking about going out there tomorrow but with the wind and rain, I'm going to go to Emmett and fish the ponds up there. I was up there about a month ago and the water was still too cold. Maybe it will be better now.
