Hey guys! Brand new to the forum and I'm glad to be here. I've already read lots of useful stuff. Anyway, I'll get to the chase here. I live in an urban area with a few stocked trout lakes. The most heavily stocked lakes are artificial lure and fly only. Having never caught a trout on anything other than powerbaits, worms and cheeses I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what might be good to use. I went out and bought some crankbait and spinners but if anyone has any advice on my setup I'd love to hear it.

silver and gold kastmaster's work well, my favorite spinner is a mepp's with a silver or gold blade and body ( depending on how bright it is that day ) with 1 or 2 small red beads on it. if you have the time to learn then i would suggest fly fishing, you can have the time of your life with a fly rod in a float tube in a lake full of planters.

I agree Panther Martins and Kastmasters are both good, and Wardens Rooster Tails are always pretty consistent for me.
