I made a ice bar out of a leaf spring and weight lifting bar cut a V notch out so it has two points the bevel the inside you will never use a hand auger again. Bit more weight but takes up less room and is twice as fast. more versatile on hole size and you can check for safe ice. eskimo makes one like the one I have but not as heavy.
